For $75 a year, you stay fully part of the NBEA network:

• Stay current and engaged. Continue receiving The Business Education Forum and the Curator newsletter, and keep your access to the NBEA online library — thousands of articles, journals, and resources to explore for the sheer pleasure of it.
• Keep your seat at the table. Attend the Annual Convention, symposiums, and networking events at member rates. The hallway conversations, the reunions, the new ideas — they're still yours.
• Share what you know. The online community connects you with educators at every stage, including those just beginning. A thoughtful reply to a question, a lesson idea that always worked, a word of encouragement to a teacher having a hard week — the next generation of business educators benefits enormously from voices that have been there. Many of our most valued contributors are members who are no longer in the classroom themselves.

Student Membership opens the door to the profession before you step into the classroom — so you arrive on day one already fluent in the conversations that matter to business educators nationwide. Student Membership is available to currently enrolled undergraduate students. All student accounts expire October 1 each year. Does not include professional liability insurance or voting rights. NBHS Collegiate students should join under that category to save.

The National Business Honor Society gives those students something lasting — national recognition for academic achievement in business education — and gives your program a visible mark of excellence that students, parents, and administrators all notice.

Chartering an NBHS chapter at your school provides a credential your students can claim on college applications, scholarship submissions, and résumés, along with a clear standard of excellence for business students to aspire to. Induction ceremonies, honor cords, and regalia turn that achievement into a moment students and families remember. An active chapter also elevates the profile of business education in your building and connects your students to a recognized national network of business honor society chapters.

All business teachers at an institution holding an NBHS charter are required to hold NBEA Professional Membership or higher.

Students who belong to a National Business Honor Society Chapter can join as a student member. Follow the link your school's sponsor provides or select the correct school in the selection box.  Benefits for first-year students include an attractive certificate, pin, and keychain. Second year and on, students can participate in development events designed to help students launch their careers.

The National Business Honor Society Collegiate (NBHS-C) gives your strongest business students a credential with national standing — and gives your department a mark of excellence that resonates with prospective students, employers, and accreditation reviewers alike.

An NBHS-C chapter provides a recognized national honor your students carry into internships, job interviews, and graduate applications, along with a clear standard of excellence that reinforces a culture of rigor across your business curriculum. An active chapter signals institutional distinction to prospective students and partners, and creates real leadership opportunities for high-achieving students. The charter also includes one NBEA Professional Membership for the chapter's primary contact, connecting your faculty advisor to the full national network of business educators, current standards, and professional development.
