Business moves fast. Tariffs shift, companies pivot, markets crash, and new industries emerge, often faster than any curriculum committee can respond. Meanwhile, your textbook still has a chapter on Blockbuster as a business model case study. You deserve better tools. So do your students.
This session is about using AI to become your own content creator: producing case studies, source syntheses, and reading materials that reflect the real business world your students are about to enter. You will learn how to generate original, localized business case studies from a single prompt, complete with ethical dilemmas, discussion questions, student decision tasks, and embedded data. You will also discover how to upload existing articles, reports, and textbook chapters to an AI knowledge tool and turn them into student-ready reading guides and audio summaries students can engage with before class.
Beyond the practical skills, we will dig into what this means for how you teach research. When students know their teacher builds content with AI, it opens the door to powerful conversations about source verification, critical evaluation, and information literacy skills that belong at the center of any business education program. You will leave this session with a complete, original case study ready to use and a process to build more whenever you need them.
Measurable Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Produce a complete, original business case study: including a scenario, discussion questions, an ethical dilemma, and a student decision task on a topic from their current curriculum, using AI.
Upload at least two source documents to an AI knowledge tool and generate a student-ready reading guide and a synthesis question set, demonstrated during the live demo replication activity.
Design one student research assignment that explicitly incorporates an AI source-verification step, using a provided template, to build information literacy alongside business content knowledge.

Brittany Hall is a dedicated business educator with a passion for preparing students for success in today’s technology-driven world. She currently teaches Business Data Applications, Marketing, Advanced Personal Finance, and Accounting at the high school level, where she focuses on creating engaging, real-world learning experiences that help students build career-ready and financial literacy skills. In addition to her classroom responsibilities, Brittany serves as a DECA advisor, helping students develop leadership, communication, and career-readiness skills through competitive events and professional experiences. Prior to teaching in high school, Brittany served as an adjunct instructor at a local community college, where she gained valuable experience supporting diverse learners and fostering student growth in higher education settings.
Brittany is recognized for her leadership and innovation in integrating artificial intelligence into education. In 2026, she was honored as a state winner for the AI Presidential Challenge, recognizing her commitment to advancing AI literacy and meaningful classroom implementation. She has also presented at SCBEA and participated as a presenter in the NBEA Business Education Artificial Intelligence Symposium, where she shared practical strategies for using AI tools to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.
