Meet Lesson Plan Creator 3.0, Now in the NBEA Library
You know the feeling: Sunday night, a new unit on Monday, and a blank page. The NBEA Library now includes Lesson Plan Creator 3.0, a new tool for NBEA members that turns an idea into a complete, standards-aligned lesson plan in about a minute.
Just tell it what you want to teach
There’s no form to fill out. You have a conversation. Tell the Creator your topic, your students and what you want them to walk away with, the way you’d tell a colleague. It asks a question or two if it needs to, then writes the plan.
Each plan includes:
- A full 50-minute lesson, with objectives, an opening, guided and independent practice, a closing and an assessment.
- Alignment to the current NBEA standards. The Creator reads them directly from NBEA’s official 2023 edition, so the wording is always up to date.
- A student worksheet that’s ready to hand out.
Make it yours
The first draft is just the start. Ask for changes in plain language: “make it more hands-on,” “add a group activity,” “adjust it for ninth graders.” The Creator revises the plan and keeps every version, so you can go back to an earlier one at any time.
Take it with you
- Download it in Word. Choose the full lesson plan or the Learner Edition, which has just the student pages.
- Email it to yourself with one click.
- Share it with a colleague through a link. Fellow NBEA members can view it and make their own copy to adapt.
Share your best work with the profession
