The Heart Behind the Welcome: Violet Snell

Member Spotlight,

Violet Snell from Texas is the kind of member every organization hopes for. She shows up, not for

Violet Snell

recognition, but because she truly cares about the NBEA and the members. At our New (and Returning) Member Orientation Sessions and the Survival Guide for New Teachers Networking Event, Violet generously shares her time, talent, and experience. New teachers often find comfort in her steady presence and thoughtful advice. She has a way of making others feel welcome.

If you have attended convention as a first-time participant, there is a good chance Violet greeted you with a smile. She makes it a priority to seek out new attendees, answer questions, and help them feel like they belong. Her warmth and sincerity set the tone for the kind of professional community we strive to build. She understands that sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.

Beyond her visible involvement, Violet quietly works to promote NBEA whenever she can. She serves faithfully on the National Business Honor Society committee and contributes her time and energy with dedication. Her commitment reflects a genuine belief in our mission and in the value of supporting business educators. We are thankful for Violet’s service and the steady encouragement she brings to the NBEA.
